So, the holidays are behind us and the library is now open again for it’s normal days. In case you haven’t noticed, we are in the midst of some changes here at BCPL. A lot of our big windows are being replaced with new walls and smaller, more efficient windows. It can get a little chilly in here (and a little noisy), but please be patient with us. It will definitely be worth it when the construction is complete.
A quick catch-up on our November activities:
Our Adult Fall Reading program is over and the winners have been chosen.
Thanks to all who participated!
Our first-ever Fancy Nancy party was a stupendous success!
We all enjoyed Fancy Nancy stories, dressing Fancy, crafts and Fancy food. Everyone had such a good time that they were asking when we are going to do it again!
We had A LOT of guesses for the Star Wars Blu-Ray collection. Our lucky winner guessed exactly right! Good Job! The Force is strong with him!
The library is about to get fancy. Fancy Nancy that is. Girls and Boys are invited to dress in their fanciest attire and join us for a Fancy Nancy Fall Fête (that’s a fancy word for party) on Saturday, November 18 from 10:30am to 12:00pm. There will be stories, snacks, crafts and fabulous fun! Space is limited, so registration is necessary. You can come in and sign-up starting Wednesday, October 4. Give us a call at (765)884-1720 for more information. And don’t forget to like us on Facebook: Benton County Public Library and follow us on Instagram: bentoncounty_library
Our Fall Adult Weekly Reading Contest will be starting soon. If you are 16 years or older (and have a BCPL library card) you can sign-up starting September 27. The contest runs from October 1 to November 11. Keep checking our website for more information or like us on Facebook at Benton County Public Library. And remember, you can’t win if you don’t read! 🙂
Guess my weight and take me home with you for Halloween!! You get one guess PER VISIT (so, you can guess multiple times). All ages may participate (not just for the kiddos) (grown-ups love pumpkins, too). The last chance to enter is October 14th, so visit the library often and make your guess. But please don’t pick me up, we want to keep it fair. The winner will be announced on October 16th!
