Fancy Nancy Fall Fête

The library is about to get fancy. Fancy Nancy that is. Girls and Boys are invited to dress in their fanciest attire and join us for a Fancy Nancy Fall Fête (that’s a fancy word for party) on Saturday, November 18 from 10:30am to 12:00pm. There will be stories, snacks, crafts and fabulous fun! Space is limited, so registration is necessary. You can come in and sign-up starting Wednesday, October 4. Give us a call at (765)884-1720 for more information. And don’t forget to like us on Facebook: Benton County Public Library and follow us on Instagram: bentoncounty_library

Fall into a Good Book!

Our Fall Adult Weekly Reading Contest will be starting soon. If you are 16 years or older (and have a BCPL library card) you can sign-up starting September 27. The contest runs from October 1 to November 11. Keep checking our website for more information or like us on Facebook at Benton County Public Library. And remember, you can’t win if you don’t read! 🙂

Prize Winner!

This is Jami Dowell. She is the proud winner of the To Kill a Mockingbird book and purse. Congratulations Jami! It just goes to show that it pays to read.

Hello, I’m Jack the Pumpkin!

Guess my weight and take me home with you for Halloween!! You get one guess PER VISIT (so, you can guess multiple times). All ages may participate (not just for the kiddos) (grown-ups love pumpkins, too). The last chance to enter is October 14th, so visit the library often and make your guess. But please don’t pick me up, we want to keep it fair. The winner will be announced on October 16th!

Upcoming programs preview…

Fall is a favorite time for us here at the library. Here is a preview of two of the programs we have planned:

How good are your guessing skills? Can you guess the weight of the pumpkin? If you are the closest you can take it home!

The library is going to get fancy this November. Fancy Nancy that is! A Fall Fête (that’s a fancy word for party) is being planned. Sign-up will be required, keep watching for more information.
